Fylde Rugby Community Foundation will deliver valuable online workshops and activities from this week.
Aimed at Fylde RFC’s Mini & Junior section, the aim of the sessions is to enable children to benefit from the same exercise and movement they would normally be experiencing during training at the club.
Fylde Rugby Community Foundation – a partner of Community Group, which specialises in the formation and operation of community departments for rugby clubs of all levels – will provide high-intensity interval training (HIIT) activity sessions open to all age groups and parents if they wish during lockdown.
This will include one HIIT session on a Sunday morning (20-30 mins) and one nutritional workshop per week for the older age groups as well as fun games and activities for the younger players. All sessions will then be followed by a Q&A section.
The Foundation will be looking to offer these activity sessions and workshops to surrounding schools with a view to furthering the reach of rugby education and fitness.
