Present Appeal in the Local Community

Fylde Rugby Community Foundations present appeal for children this Christmas has had a substantial impact.

Working in partnership with Fylde Council, AFC Fylde, local schools, children, and families in the Fylde area the Foundation distributed toys, games, and laptops for primary and secondary school children to open on Christmas day.

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundations Community Rugby Coaches, Ben Turner and Alex Carson collected toys and games from Fylde Rugby Club donated by members and the local community and delivered these to schools in the Fylde area.

Laptops4Learning kindly donated ten laptops to the foundations present appeal to enable ten children from Lytham St Anne’s high school to have support with their education, and to enable them to use the devices to stay connected to friends.

Phill Mills, Head of Community Coaching at Fylde Rugby Community Foundation, said: “It is great that we are able to support children in the Fylde area, who may not have had the opportunity to open a present this Christmas. We are grateful to Laptops4Learning for their fantastic donation of ten laptops for local school children.”
