Fylde Rugby Community Foundation Opens Recruitment for Apprenticeship in Community Sports Coaching and Youth Work

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation is pleased to be recruiting for an Apprenticeship in Community Sports Coaching and Youth Work which is a brilliant opportunity for passionate individuals looking to begin a rewarding career supporting young people through sport.

Building on years of successful community outreach, youth engagement, and sports coaching, the Foundation is now able to offer structured career pathways through education and hands-on experience.

The new apprenticeship role is open to enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about sport, keen to learn, and driven to make a difference. Delivered in partnership with UCLAN and Burnley College, the programme offers a Level 6 Youth Worker Degree Apprenticeship, combining practical coaching experience with academic study. Apprentices will support school, youth, and community programmes across Fylde, Wyre and Blackpool, gaining vital skills in coaching, safeguarding, leadership, and youth engagement.

Based at Fylde Rugby Club in Lytham St Annes, the successful candidate will work across a dynamic programme of school coaching, youth outreach, sports camps, and community events. All while studying and progressing towards a recognised professional qualification.
