We are aware that several of our programmes will create an interest in being involved in the game of rugby but it may not be easy for young people to get to a rugby club or they may not be able to afford the necessary kit or they may lack the confidence to take that first step to actually join a rugby club.
Necessary Assistance
The Rugby Pathway Programme will provide the necessary assistance for up to 55 young people from our various programmes and Rugby and Multi Sports Camps to join a rugby club at Fylde RFC and Fleetwood RUFC, and hopefully provide a route to lifelong sporting participation for these young people. In addition to helping with practical measures such as transport and kit, the beneficiaries will be supported by the Foundation’s Community Sports Coaches.
Supported by Porsche Centre Preston
We are grateful for the support from Mark and Georgina Merrick which enables us to run this programme at Fleetwood Rugby Club
