Community Effort: 400+ Presents to Families in Need this Christmas

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation, in collaboration with local partners and the Fylde Council, has successfully delivered over 400 presents to families in need across the Fylde region. This heart-warming initiative aimed to bring joy to children on Christmas day who might not have had the opportunity to unwrap a gift.

Throughout the month of December, the Foundation and partners rallied the support of local businesses and individuals who generously donated these presents. The outpouring of kindness and support from the community has made a significant impact, ensuring that numerous children will experience the joy of unwrapping a special gift on Christmas morning.

“We are immensely grateful to all the local businesses and individuals who came forward and contributed to this wonderful cause,” said Phill Mills, Foundation Manager at The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation. “Their generosity has made it possible for us to bring smiles to the faces of many children in our community who might have otherwise gone without a present at Christmas.”

The collaborative efforts between the Foundation, local partners, and Fylde Council emphasise the power of community unity in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. The Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the present appeal, highlighting the invaluable impact their donations will have on brightening Christmas for families across Fylde.
