Half Term Multi-Sports Camp

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation February half-term multi-sports kids camp, kindly sponsored by Wooden Spoon, has had a highly successful week. Attendance was great, and the children actively participated in various sports activities, showing enthusiasm and engagement throughout. Parents also provided positive feedback, noting their children’s enjoyment and the camp’s organisation.

Thanks to the support and generosity of Wooden Spoon, the foundation was able to grant 15 children a free place on the camp which included breakfast and a hot lunch.

Amelia Bullock, Rugby Development Manager, shared her excitement: “We’ve just run a very successful February camp where we welcomed over 40 children over the course of 3 days to Fylde RFC for our Rugby and Multi-Sports Camp.
The children took part in so many diff erent games and activities both inside and outside, which ranged from tag rugby, dodgeball, arts and craft s to pancake day and valentines day themed activities! Children split into teams of England vs Scotland to battle it out for the Calcutta Cup in our Six Nations themed competitions, with England coming out victorious!
Once again, with thanks to The Wooden Spoon and their generosity, we were even able to welcome 15 children to the camp on a free place.
We are now looking forward to hosting our Easter Camps at both Fylde RFC and Garstang RUFC in just 6 weeks time!”
