The sequins are coming out, the music is ready, and the dancers are preparing to step onto the training floor once again as Fylde Coast Come Dancing 2026 officially returns this summer.
Following the incredible success of the event in 2025, The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation is pleased to announce that this year’s spectacular charity dance fundraiser will take place on Saturday 20th June 2026 at Fylde Rugby Club.
Training begins on 12th April, with participants learning brand new routines ahead of the big night – all with the aim of lifting the coveted Fylde Coast Come Dancing Champion Trophy.
This event plays a vital role in helping the Foundation raise essential funds to continue making a real impact within the community. Funds raised support programmes including school sessions, youth mentoring, holiday camps, inclusive rugby and wider community initiatives, benefiting hundreds of local people each year.
Last year’s event was a huge success, bringing together local people, businesses and supporters for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, community spirit and fundraising. A huge part of that success was down to Euphoria Dance & Theatre Company, whose support was instrumental in bringing the event to life. From pairing dancers and choreographing routines to delivering training sessions and organising stunning interval performances, their dedication ensured every dancer felt confident and prepared. The Foundation is incredibly grateful for their continued support and is delighted to be working with them again for 2026.
The 2025 champions, Amelia Summersgill-Smith and her partner Alfie, stole the show with their incredible performance.
Reflecting on the experience, Amelia said:
“Being part of the Foundation from day one, saying yes to Phill when he asked me to join the very first Fylde Coast Come Dancing was a no-brainer.
With zero dance experience, stepping onto that dance floor was terrifying and massively out of my comfort zone. But with the amazing support from Sally and Meg, and with Alfie as a great teacher and dance partner, our Sunday training sessions quickly became the highlight of my week.
I felt so incredibly lucky just to be involved in such a great evening, never mind to end up winning it with Alfie! I feel so proud having participated and helped raise a fantastic amount of money for the Foundation.”

This year, Amelia returns in a new role as part of the judging panel, bringing her first-hand experience to help decide who takes home the 2026 trophy.
Building on last year’s success, the event is set to be even bigger and better. It will once again take place at Fylde Rugby Club, but this year in The Bill Beaumont Bar, offering a brand new layout and improved experience for guests, including:
• More seating with tables available all evening
• No need to move between rooms
• More space around the dance floor
• A bar open throughout the night
• Even more raffle prizes
• And an after-party you won’t want to miss
The evening promises another unforgettable showcase, with local dancers performing after weeks of rehearsals in front of a packed audience, all in support of the Foundation’s work across the Fylde Coast.
