Fylde Coast Come Dancing 2026 Delivers Another Spectacular Night for Fylde Rugby Community Foundation

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation is celebrating the success of another unforgettable Fylde Coast Come Dancing, as supporters from across the Fylde Coast came together for a spectacular evening of entertainment, community spirit and fundraising at Fylde Rugby Club.

The event saw local participants swap their day jobs for dancing shoes, taking to the stage after months of rehearsals and preparation to perform in front of a packed audience. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with outstanding performances, a pre-show dinner, fundraising activities and plenty of memorable moments, all while supporting the Foundation’s vital work across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.

£3,720 Raised for Local Communities

Thanks to the incredible support of dancers, sponsors, volunteers, guests and local businesses, the event raised an impressive £3,720 for the Fylde Rugby Community Foundation.

The funds raised will directly support the Foundation’s programmes and initiatives, helping to create opportunities for children, young people and adults across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre through sport, mentoring, education and wellbeing activities.

Phill Mills, Foundation Director at Fylde Rugby Community Foundation, said:

Fylde Coast Come Dancing continues to be one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar and this year’s event was another fantastic success. To see so many people come together in support of the Foundation was incredibly special.

Raising £3,720 in one evening is a tremendous achievement and would not have been possible without the dedication of our dancers, the expertise of Euphoria Dance and Therapy Ltd, the support of our volunteers, sponsors, local businesses and everyone who attended the event.

These funds will make a genuine difference across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, helping us continue to deliver programmes that positively impact people of all ages throughout our communities.”

A key part of the evening’s success was the dedication shown by the dancers, who committed themselves to weeks of rehearsals in preparation for the event. Their hard work, enthusiasm and willingness to step outside their comfort zones resulted in a truly entertaining and inspiring show.

The Foundation would also like to extend its sincere thanks to Euphoria Dance and Therapy Ltd, whose team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to choreograph routines, support participants and help deliver another exceptional event.

Sally Dickinson, Euphoria Dance and Therapy Ltd, Director says:

Euphoria Dance was privileged to be asked again to support this wonderful event raising money for Fylde Rugby Community Foundation.

Training with the contestants was undertaken for 2 hours a session over a 10 week period. The professional dancers worked extremely hard to ensure the contestants had an amazing experience through their training period and ultimately their performance on the night.

The Foundation produced an incredible setting for the event which enhanced the evening for the contestants and guests in attendance.

The evening raised £3720 for the Charity  which will have a huge impact across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre and directly support their programmes and beneficiaries.

On behalf of the team at Euphoria thank you to the Foundation for asking us to play a big part in organising this wonderful event.”

Alongside the dancing, guests took part in a raffle and auction featuring a fantastic selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses from across the Fylde Coast. The Foundation is incredibly grateful to every business that contributed, helping to maximise the fundraising impact of the evening.

The event was also supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who gave up their time to assist with planning, organisation and event delivery. Their contribution played a vital role in ensuring the evening ran smoothly from start to finish.

One of the highlights of the night was the crowning of Grace and Harry as the Fylde Coast Come Dancing 2026 Champions, following a series of outstanding performances that impressed both the judges and audience alike.

Winning Contestant, Harry, said:

“It was an amazing experience to participate in the Fylde Coast Come Dancing event, and was a genuine surprise to be voted the winner! Especially given the high standards set by my fellow competitors. A truly remarkable show put on by everyone, and I do have an element of imposter syndrome.

After helping the evening raise such an incredible total (£3720) for a meaningful and worthwhile cause, I must acknowledge the support of Euphoria Dance who were fantastic. For me, the biggest thank you must go to Grace. A brilliantly patient Pro (coach) who pushed me to my limits. Designing a highly technical routine, showing belief in me to learn it, and guiding me through the steps to execute it on the night. Being able to dance with rhythm, according to the judges, was a highlight I will remember.

Despite coming into the event for ‘a laugh’ and ‘something different’ to support my own mental health. My competitive side did show up when I couldn’t master the steps at the first time of trying. Having said that, my reward was being able to battle a fear – dancing in front of a crowd. The reward of winning the trophy is recognition of Grace’s hardwork moulding my broken ex-rugby player’s body into an agile and crisp Cha-cha dancer!”

The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation would like to thank everyone who played a part in making Fylde Coast Come Dancing 2026 such a memorable occasion and looks forward to building on its success in the years ahead. With another sell-out crowd, incredible performances and vital funds raised for local communities, the event once again demonstrated the power of people coming together to make a difference.
