The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation celebrated a fantastic finish to the Easter Holiday Rugby & Multi-Sports Camps just a couple of weeks ago!

These camps are kindly sponsored by Wooden Spoon, Children’s Charity. Whose generosity assist the camps with granting 15 children a free place on the camp, which included breakfast and a hot lunch. No child should have to miss out on out of school programmes, so this support is paramount to The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation. It enables the foundation to provide a number of free places to children that need support in attending our camps.

No matter the weather, the foundation managers and coaches endeavour to keep all the children busy and engaged with a range of games, activities and competitions. The last 2 weeks children have enjoyed taking part in group activities, team building challenges as well as Easter related fun!

Tag rugby, Dodgeball, Capture the flag, Cops and robbers, Rugby Paintball, Cricket, Rounders, Football, Swedish Longball, Sports Day competitions (tug of war, sack race, egg n spoon race, skittles), Bookmark making, Easter Egg Hunt, Quizzes, Paper Aeroplane competition, Easter Scene drawing competition

and so much more…

We have had excellent feedback from parents and guardians of those attended:

“Our Son William came to the Easter holiday rugby sport camp – we only put him in for 1 day as he’s only 4 and hadn’t been to anything like this before, so we were a little apprehensive about how he’d get on. We really shouldn’t have been, everyone was very helpful and friendly, made him feel at home right away and he had an absolutely wonderful time. When we picked him up he was very happy, really keen to tell us what a great day he had, and asking when he could go back again! It was a brilliant experience and I can’t recommend it enough.”
